The fastest way to burn fat

We are overloaded with many ways to lose weight and burn fat: just look at a few women or health magazines and you’ll get the latest “revolution”!

Too much information lead to confusion, and confusion lead to inaction!

Why people don’t keep everything simple?

When something is simple, it’s easier to stick with it, and consistency is a key if you want lose weight and burn fat.

The fastest way to burn fat is…to be fast! Sprints! Running sprints!

Here a sample of workout you can do:

First, warm up thoroughly: 5 to 10 minutes of paced walking, light jogging; stretch a little, especially the hamstrings.
Your sprint set: sprint 10 seconds at about 80%, then come back walking or light jogging to recover (50 seconds): total 1 minute. Repeat the process between 10 to 20 times, according to your fitness level. You can increase progressively the intensity of the sprints, but be smart: listen your body. Finish with a few minutes cool down and stretching.

Your workout can be done in 15 to 30 minutes and you’ll burn a lot of calories.

If sprinting is too hard for you, here a few alternatives I like: stationary bike, jumping rope, shadow boxing (fast), heavy bag boxing (you have to learn how to punch!), slide board.

If you are completely out of shape, caution! Sprinting is very challenging but this is the far most effective method to burn fat and get lean: look at the body of a sprinter!

A good strategy is to start with total body conditioning routines to get your body ready for this new challenge.
